feature film

The story of change at the Point in Lagundi Bay. The story of the first surf pioneers to discover a perfect wave in Nias in the 1970s and the dramatic changes that unfolded as a result. This is an odyssey through time starting with a dream to a place with an ancient megalithic culture, where gold, slave trading and head hunting existed involving mystery, black magic, malaria, secrets, betrayal, exploitation and culture clashes raising the age old question - in finding paradise do we destroy it?

This is a creative documentary feature film working with archive, live action and animation
